CLASSROOM RULES
Students are expected to observe the rules and policies outlined in the
handbook.
Students are required to be in their assigned seats before the tardy
bell rings. Students are required to
have pencil/pen, paper, projects, textbooks and/or any art supplies necessary
for class. If you do not have the
necessary items, you will be given a tardy.
You must remain seated until dismissed by the instructor not the
bell.
Students will not be allowed to leave the classroom without
permission. Permission will not be given
for restrooms, drinks, forgotten books, supplies, admits, or any other
unnecessary reasons.
No talking. No vulgar language or
gestures. You must raise your hand to
speak or get out of your seat unless otherwise directed.
You will NOT work on assignments for other classes or write letters
during art. Violators will have their
work or letters irretrievably confiscated.
Hand in work and have all supplies for all projects on time. NO INCOMPLETE OR LATE PROJECTS WILL ACCEPTED. NO LATE
WRITTEN WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED. YOU WILL
BE GIVEN A “0”.
You are responsible for your mess and work area in the art room and it
must be clean before you leave. (You
will be notified when to begin cleaning up or put things away.)
Students
are to follow the teacher’s directions and requests courteously and promptly.
Violations
of these or other inappropriate behavior will result in one of the following
consequences.
1.
Verbal
warning
2.
Written
assignment- due the following day at the beginning of the hour
3.
A
visit to the principal’s office
ACTIVITIES
ART CLUB- Will meet every 3rd Tuesday
of the month.
SPRING CONCERT AND ART DISPLAY- All art classes
will display various projects made during the school year.
