The Wellsville-Middletown Tigers defeated the Madison Panthers 3-0 in the Class 1 District 11 Championship Baseball Game at New Franklin, Mo. The Tigers currently have 12 wins and 4 losses headed into sectional play.
This game was tight. The Tigers earned one run in the 3rd inning and 2 runs in the 5th.
This group worked hard throughout the season. They have done the little things to be a successful team. I couldn’t be more proud of this group. The championship eluded us last season and the players knew what they wanted and put the time in to make sure it happened.
Come out and support your TIGER baseball team as they take on Concordia for SECTIONALS! Game is at HOME on MONDAY, MAY 20 and starts at 4:30.
