Community Pay-It-Forward Day

On Thursday, May 16th, Wellsville-Middletown students spent the last day of school giving back to the Wellsville and Middletown communities.  WMR1 students are fortunate to live within the Wellsville and Middletown communities that are so supportive and giving. The Junior High students stayed on campus.  The students helped cleanup the courtyards, the playground, and pickup trash around campus. The High School student left campus to help with various projects throughout the communities.  They helped at the pool, trash pickup through Wellsville, planting flowers at the Wellsville sign and barrels, cleaned up Kiwanis Park, helped at the Gamma Road Nursing Home, helped cleanup Buddy Packs and Clothes Closet, and prepare flower beds at the Middletown City Park. Every group did a great job. Afterwards, all the students were treated to grilled hot dogs, ice cream, and slushies.
