April Student of the Month

The April 2019 Students of the Month for Wellsville-Middletown Jr/Sr High are Molly Scott (JH) and Erin Johnson (HS). Mrs. Thull nominated Molly for “working very hard all year long. She always participates and sets a wonderful example for her peers in her behavior and academics.”  Molly is the daughter of Rodney and Lisa Scott of Wellsville.  Molly is currently a 8th grader and is a member of the the basketball and track and field teams.  She is also involved in youth softball, Junior High Choir, FCA, and the Middletown Meddlers 4-H club.  In her spare time, Molly enjoys hanging out with friends and family and spending time outdoors. Erin was nominated by Mr. Slovensky for being “the most contentious and highest achieving Algebra 2 student.”  Erin is the daughter of Rollie and Valerie Johnson of Wellsville.  She is currently junior and involved in FCA, NHS, Choir, and Band.  In her spare time, Erin enjoys hanging out with friends and family, riding horses, and raising goats.   

The criteria for student of the month are high attendance rate for the month, contributes to class, club, and/or athletic activities, showed marked improvement or continued excellence in performance, is prepared for class, class participation, demonstrates responsibility, and is respectful to peers and teachers.  Thank you to Dairy Mart for donating a cheeseburger meal to this month’s winners.  Please help us in congratulating Molly and Erin on their accomplishments.
