January Student of the Month

The January 2020 Students of the Month for Wellsville-Middletown Jr/Sr High are Hunter Bickell (JH) and Danny Dothage (HS). Ms. Ripperger nominated Hunter because “he always tries his best and turns in exceptional work.”  Hunter is the son of Maria and Dan Bickell of Wellsville. Hunter is currently a 7th grader. His favorite pastime is basketball and hanging out with friends and family. Hunter’s favorite subject is English or Social Studies, and his favorite food is cheeseburgers.  Hunter says the best part of being a tiger is the whole. His future plans may involve a career with basketball or brains. Danny was nominated by Ms. Osbourn for . “for being helpful to staff and students.”  Danny is the son of Dwayne Dothage of Warrenton and Deana Dothage of Middletown.  He is currently a senior. His favorite pastime is playing online solitaire. Danny’s  favorite subject is Agriculture and his favorite food is cheeseburgers. Danny says the best part of being a tiger is the awesome lunch ladies.  Danny’s future plans are to continue his education at State Tech for Heavy Equipment Technology. 

The criteria for student of the month are high attendance rate for the month, contributes to class, club, and/or athletic activities, showed marked improvement or continued excellence in performance, is prepared for class, class participation, demonstrates responsibility, and is respectful to peers and teachers.  Thank you to Dairy Mart for donating a cheeseburger meal to this month’s winners.
